In what has now become a regular event, Pulling Threads performed to an appreciative audience on Valentines Day. Pulling Threads is the performance side of TCWG and tries to get out and about as often as possible. If we’re not out there who gets to know we exist?
Sadly Annette passed away before Puling Threads latest book was published. Much of the content of the book, our efforts to commemorate 100 years since World War One, was from Annette, so it was fitting to be able to present Annette’s daughter, Rebekah, with a copy of Left Write, Left Write.

The Pulling Threads arm of Touchstones Creative Writing Group took to the stage for Rochdale Literature & Ideas Fringe Festival yesterday. Here’s a picture from the event. Last performance of the year is on 10th November at Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
On Friday 13th October, the first Pulling Threads performance of Postcards from Passechdaele took place at Castleton Literary & Scientific Society. Here are some pictures – everyone really looks the part!
The Pulling Threads team will be performing again this Sunday (22nd October) at Bar Vibe on Drake Street, Rochdale at 12.40pm as part of the Rochdale Literature & Ideas Fringe Festival.
On Friday 10th November it will be the last one from the group at Oldham’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.
